The narrative of Tex-Giang formation, construction and development was started in 2006 when the Board of Directors of Phuong Dong Garment Joint Stock Company proposed seeking investment opportunities to build garment factories in Southwest provinces. After a period of survey and research, the company decided to open a 1-ha factory in Tien Giang province-based Tan Huong Industrial Zone.
After obtaining the investment license from the Tien Giang Department of Planning and Investment and signing a land lease contract with Nhut Thanh Tan Co., Ltd of Tan Huong Industrial Zone on August 6, 2007, the company commenced the factory construction.
